Equipment for producing the “Škoda” logo Automated industrial equipment designed to produce not only the “Škoda” logo, but also the “Superb” and “Passat” logos. This equipment installs double-sided tape (the negative of the letters in the logo) onto the “Škoda” logo mouldings with various surface finishes. The double-sided tape is positioned with an accuracy of 0.1 mm without the use of a camera. After the tape is applied, the letters of the inscription are folded and separated so that they can then be placed in application templates – packaging templates. After replacing the accessories, the device is also capable of producing the inscriptions “Superb” and “Passat”. The operator only serves to insert plastic mouldings and remove application templates (finished products) from the device.
Main parts of the device:
- Aluminium profile frame: Mobile base with stable construction and brakes. Integrated storage areas.
- Rotary table with positioning nests – 4 positions: Rotary tables with stepper motors and positioning stones.
- Double-sided tape unwinding step device: Unwinding and positioning of double-sided tape.
- Transfer station: Interface between the two robots.
- Rotary table with positioning nests – 2 positions: Positioning letters in precise positions.
- Printing and packaging: Product labelling and packaging for use in production lines
- Control panel: Main and safety switch, START/STOP buttons, EKS key reader. Simatic control system, Weintek HMI
- Sensors and safety features: Equipment status monitoring, emergency stop buttons, light barriers and signalling.
- Interchangeable tools: Stencils for the words "Superb" and "Passat"
- Pneumatic block: Compressed air supply, pressure gauges, quick couplings.
