We created a 3D model and production documentation for this structure. We also prepared a design and assessment of all steel structure connections. As this was a structure in a public space, there was a requirement for architectural “cleanliness” of the steel structure details.
All joints were therefore designed to be concealed or minimalist, and the roof drainage was also designed to be concealed by the cavities in the columns. The structure was hot-dip galvanised and painted. The length, width and height of the structure are 77.0 x 25.6 x 8.7 m.
