The rubber adhesion checker is an automated industrial device designed to test the quality of vulcanized rubber stabilizer housings. It operates in fully automatic mode, evaluating the correctness of the bond based on the set pressure force and the displacement of the rubber bed. The design is a stable welded frame on wheels with brakes and mechanical adjustment for different types of stabilizers. Operation is via a Beckhoff touch panel and controls on the control cabinet. The machine is equipped with large diameter pneumatic actuators and a number of safety features to ensure operator protection. It is customised before each project with colour-coded tool sets. Typical applications include testing the adhesion of rubber bushings according to the specific customer project.
The main parts of the device:
- Welded frame with wheels: mobile base with stable structure and brakes.
- Linear guides with jaws: precise alignment of the stabilizer according to type.
- Pneumatic compression elements: force application for rubber sliding testing.
- Beckhoff touch panel: user interface for setting up and controlling test cycles.
- Control cabinet: main and safety switch, START/STOP buttons, EKS key reader.
- Sensors and safety features: equipment status monitoring, emergency switches, light signalling.
- Interchangeable tools: colour-coded jigs and jaws for individual projects.
- Pneumatic block: compressed air supply, manometers, quick couplings.
- Strain gauge mechanism: evaluation of rubber deformation during the test.
