The B58 automated workstation is designed for loading Global Delta and Mondeo mouldings into multiple moulds in a vertical injection moulding machine with a rotary table. The workstation is designed exclusively for fully automated operation. Handling is performed by two ABB robots – a six-axis IRB 2600 and a SCARA IRB 910SC. The input pellets are poured into a hopper, sorted using a vibrating bar and visually detected by a camera system. The selected parts are loaded into the mould and then inserted into the injection moulding machine. After injection moulding, the robots handle the finished mouldings and sort them according to quality into KLT crates or a special box for NIO parts. The entire workplace is protected by safety fencing and equipped with elements for a high level of safety.
