Automated ANDOT robotic workstation for loading parts with holes for rods. The workstation processes two types of components — replaceable cutting inserts (VBD) and spacer parts (distance). A pair of ABB IRB 1600 industrial robots place the parts on rods according to specified instructions. The operator loads orders using a scanner and selects the appropriate loading instructions via a touch panel. If the instructions are missing, they can be easily created directly in the system. Before starting production, the operator prepares the input components according to visual instructions. During production, they replenish the material and remove the finished assemblies. The process is precisely controlled, ergonomic and efficient. The result is a completely loaded assembly of parts with high precision. The solution is flexible and easily adaptable to different orders.
