An automated workstation designed for controlled cooling of aluminium castings (“trees”). The key objective was to ensure precise control of the cooling liquid temperature and immersion speed in order to optimise the quality of the castings. The operator selects a recipe from the control panel, according to which the device is prepared and the cooling liquid is tempered to the required temperature. After casting the alloy, the robot automatically immerses the technological pallet into the tank and then cools it down. The entire process is fully automated and secured with protective elements for safe and efficient operation.
