A single-purpose cutting station designed to remove unwanted parts of plastic components using pneumatic shears. The station is part of the Intel Air Cleaner project and its main task is to cut off red sprues according to customer specifications. Description of individual device components
- Support structure
The support structure is made of aluminium profiles, which ensures the lightness and durability of the device. The structure is mobile, fitted with wheels for easy movement of the station within the workspace. Two swivel wheels are equipped with a lock, which allows for stable positioning of the station during use. - Pneumatic shears
Pneumatic shears are the main component of the device, used to precisely cut off a defined part of a plastic component. Thanks to the pneumatic drive, the cutting process is fast and efficient. - Safety cover
The device is equipped with a safety cover that ensures that the cutting process can only be started after it has been closed. This protects the operator from possible injury during operation.
Operation and maintenance
The cutting process is performed manually, with the operator inserting one part into the station, removing it after cutting, and repeating the process. The device is designed for operation by a single operator, ensuring simplicity and efficiency of operation. Any use of the device outside its intended purpose or deviations from the regulations may result in damage to the device or injury, so it is important to follow the safety instructions.
