The Dresden – Plauen stop has undergone a complete renovation. During this renovation, it also received a new platform shelter. The roof was designed using the Zwiesel system, whose main distinguishing feature is its solid bent purlins made of sheet metal. The roof of the shelter has a trapezoidal shape in plan, which also has a significant longitudinal slope. Drainage is provided by a central gutter. The slope of the roof in different directions was a challenge throughout the documentation process.
